Like it or leave it? here’s my verdict
The hotel boasts a fabulous gym and offers exceptional views from the rooms, making relaxation an artistic experience!
Unfortunately, I encountered frustrating lift accessibility problems that detracted from my daily routine.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel with its stunning sea view from the balcony and a well-equipped kitchen. The large room was perfect for our needs, but parking was a bit tight outside.

the check-in was utterly average, nothing like the warm welcomes I've experienced before, and the so-called spa is just a chaotic indoor pool full of children, definitely not what I imagined for relaxation. I also expected a complimentary bathrobe after such disappointment but, alas, it didn't appear. I almost left a good review, but I just couldn't.

The stunning sea view from our studio and the spacious room exceeded all expectations. Snorkeling near the hotel was an amazing experience.

Limited entertainment options outside the hotel!!! Inconsistent lift accessibility created unnecessary inconveniences!!! Indoor pool hours restricted to a mere 18:30, not the best for evening relaxation!!!

Stunning sea view moment
We enjoyed a spacious room with large balconies that offered dramatic views of the ocean. The daily breakfast variety was ample, and the staff's friendliness brightened our mornings.
During our stay, we found the indoor pool's hours to be a bit restrictive, closing earlier than we anticipated. the kitchenette lacked basic cleaning supplies, which was inconvenient.

The views from the rooms are simply stunning, and the large balconies provide a perfect spot to soak it all in. The breakfast offered a decent selection of options, although it gets a bit crowded since the dining area caters to several hotels.
Access to the ocean is somewhat limited, with tricky staircases making it less convenient, especially for those with mobility concerns. The indoor pool only operates until 18:30, which feels way too early for evening relaxation. the rooms could use a facelift, as the decor is showing signs of wear and tear. The gym's noise can be bothersome if you're below it, affecting your peace. The complimentary shuttle to Funchal might sound great, but it costs €5 one way, contrary to expectations of free service. Lastly, expect wait times at the bar. long lines can put a damper on your vibe when grabbing a drink.

would happily return
We had a studio with sea view. It was spacious with a kitchenette and everything was almost brand new. The balcony had stunning ocean views. sunrises were breathtaking! Breakfasts were tasty with fresh fruits and cooked options. Staff were super helpful. Free parking was a plus too, but they charge 5€ daily. WiFi worked great everywhere.

It was just a prime choice for a brief stopover in Canico with incredible value for money. The sea view from the balcony was stunning and made our stay even better. Take the shuttle bus into Funchal for some great sightseeing.
